Western Production recorded a decrease of 0.09% in total oil and gas production to 337.8 boe/d in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Western Production declined 11.22% in August 2021 from 380.5 boe/d in August 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 12.07% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s gas production up by 1.04% to 1.95 mmcf/d in August 2021 from the previous month. On a YTD basis, gas production declined by 12.54% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, gas production held a 99.53% share.


Looking at the states where Western Production recorded the highest oil and gas production in August 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 337.8 boe/d in the state in August 2021, a decrease of 0.09% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 2,802.31 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording a decrease of 12.07% from the same period in 2020.



Western Production witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Tarrant county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Tarrant county held a share of 71.67% for the firm. The company produced 242.09 boe/d in Tarrant county in August 2021, an increase of 7.02% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,826.39 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 10.86% decrease from the same period in 2020.
