Swiss process automation firm Endress+Hauser has formed an alliance with Angus Measurement Services, TechnipFMC and its authorised service provider, Vector Controls, to provide digital oilfield technology to the oil and gas industry.
Under the partnership, the companies will collaborate to bring added value to the oil and gas industry, assisting customers with transition to the digital oilfield.
Through the partnership alignment, the automation companies intend to inform and better prepare the oil and gas industry and customers for Industry 4.0.
The collaboration is expected to leverage the companies’ combined strengths and expertise to provide oil and gas customers measurement certainty, improved operational performance to enhance revenue, improved safety of operations, regulatory compliance and predictive maintenance.
As a result, clients are expected to witness reduced operational cost, optimised measurement and management of their gas, oil and water resources.

Towards the collaboration, each partner will contribute focused areas of expertise, including products and/or services to oil and gas customers.
Endress+Hauser is expected to offer intelligent field instruments and digital communication, while Angus is set to offer systems fabrication and technology consultants.
As part of its contribution, TechnipFMC will offer oil and gas measurement technology and design capabilities.
Vector will contribute its expertise in gas analytics, measurement and control.
