Exploration and development company Mosman Oil and Gas has completed drilling of the Stanley-3 well in Texas, US, after reaching the target depth of 5,100ft.
At the time of drilling, the company identified several zones of interest that were in line with the company’s expectations.
Now that the well has been completely drilled, the next operations to be performed include well logging and target zone evaluation.
Once a zone is selected for production, the well will be completed and flow-tested to temporary tanks.
The tanks are expected to be replaced with permanent production facilities in the near future and flow rates will be advised once data is available.
Mosman Oil and Gas chairman John Barr said: “Following the success of Stanley-1 and 2, this drilling campaign has delivered on plan, with logging now underway in order to evaluate the target zones.

Earlier this month, Mosman announced its plans to spud the Stanley-3 well and drill it as part of the strategic alliance with Baja Oil and Gas.
Last month, the company announced that it is progressing work programme with respect to EP 145 in the Amadeus Basin in Northern Territory, Australia.
Last September, Mosman agreed to acquire two assets in East Texas, as part of collaboration with Baja Oil and Gas.
