Rice Energy Inc. has announced the pricing for its public issue of 20 million shares that will be closed on 15 April 2016. A total of $327m will be raised from the public issue at a price of $16.35 per share.

The oil and gas exploration and production company will utilise the funds purchase two oil and gas assets, Marcellus and Utica, in central Greene County, and to meet general corporate expenses.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter, whereas Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. is the legal advisor for the offering.

Saipem S.p.A. and Razavi Oil & Gas Development Company have announced a collaboration for the development of the Tous Gas Field located in Khorasan Razavi Province, Iran.

Situated 100km northeast of Mashhad, the gas field has more than 2,118.88 billion cubic feet (bcf) of gas in place and a production capacity of 0.14bcf of gas per day.

Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P. has pledged to provide an equity investment of $250m to Phoenix Natural Resources, LLC.

Synergy Resources Corporation has announced the public offering of 19.5 million shares valued $150m. The underwriters to the issue have an option to buy an additional 2,925,000 shares within 30 days.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the book-running manager, whereas Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is the legal advisor for the public offering, which was due for closure on 14 April 2016.

The funds raised from the issue will be used for capital expenditure and future acquisitions.
