Acteon company Seatronics has won a contract to be the preferred supplier of subsea rental equipment for Bibby Offshore.
Under the contract, Seatronics will provide marine electronic equipment including ROV, NDT and survey equipment from its rental pool to Bibby Offshore.
Seatronics’ rental pool comprises more than 9,000 assets.
Furthermore, Bibby Offshore will benefit from Seatronics’ integrated services such as calibration, and asset management, as well as personnel support.
Seatronics UK operations manager Scott Gray said: “Working with a company such as Bibby Offshore reinforces Seatronics’ status as the market leader in marine technology, delivering the latest products and services whilst ensuring our customers receive the best service possible.
“In order to continually improve our service, we promoted consignment stock of standard spares and cables and connectors, allowing equipment to remain onboard vessels between projects reducing the costs of mobilisations, our ability to provide new technology, our place within Acteon and our ability to bring other operating companies to the table if required, competitive pricing and our track record in support and service”.

Seatronics and Bibby Offshore have previously partnered on various survey and diving projects, specifically use of the RTS Gen 5 Mux solution, available from Seatronics.
The solution has formed an integral part of Bibby’s ROV systems.
