Wood Group has won a four-year data build contract from Total Denmark E&P to develop and deliver operations readiness assurance for the Tyra redevelopment project in the North Sea.

The project is located approximately 225km west of Esbjerg.

Under the contract, Wood will deploy its integrated maintenance database (IMD) to develop Total’s SAP maintenance management system.

To be provided by Wood experts based in Esbjerg, Aberdeen and Manila, the IMD will support the creation and manipulation of hierarchical equipment lists, task lists, job plans and tasks, bills of material, object lists, routes and planned maintenance.

The Tyra gas field is located in blocks 5504/11 and 5504/12, and processes nearly 90% of Denmark’s gas production. The first production from the field started in 1984.
