Texas Governor Greg Abbott plans to announce additional relaxation of anti-virus rules just weeks after he first began easing restrictions.

Ireland: Ireland’s government moved to tighten coronavirus restrictions across the country, but rejected proposals from health officials for a full lockdown of the country. Instead, the country will move to level 3 on a five point scale of restrictions. The move means restaurants will only be allowed serve take out, while bars that don’t serve food must close. Ireland reported 518 newly confirmed cases on Monday.
APAC: Japan and South Korea plan to open business travel between the two countries this week. Papua New Guinea is opening its borders to people from four countries including Japan and Singapore.
Vietnam: About 31.8 million Vietnamese have suffered economically this year through September because of the coronavirus epidemic, according to a survey by the General Statistics Office.
Asia: Stock markets in Asia have recovered some lost ground after Trump’s positive comments about his health. The FTSE100 in London is expected to open up about 0.2%.
China: China and 25 other countries have called for the immediate lifting of sanctions imposed by the United States and western countries in order to help targeted countries recover from the pandemic.
