Clough and AMEC’s joint venture Clough AMEC has formed a strategic joint venture with New Zealand-based engineering company Beca to provide integrated engineering, operations and maintenance services to New Zealand’s oil and gas industry.
In the new venture, Clough AMEC Beca (CAB), will merge the strengths of Clough AMEC with one of New Zealand’s foremost engineering resources and project management firms, according to a statement by Clough AMEC.
Clough AMEC general manager Simon Taylor said the firm will offer performance improvement consultancy to clients looking for business improvement initiatives in areas such as asset management, process controls systems, energy and emissions, operator competency / training and organisation and development.
Beca CEO Keith Reynolds said CAB will draw on its existing subcontractor relationships in the regions to deliver full EPC services, from conceptual design through to commissioning, operations and maintenance, to the New Zealand hydrocarbons industry.
