Ormen Lange Returns to Full Power

Shell Energy Europe’s Ormen Lange power plant in Norway has returned to full strength after a shutdown.

The 200MW power plant supplies the Shell’s Ormen Lange gas field and processing plant.

The plant closed on 11 March 2010 due to problems on the power grid, according to Reuters.

Shell Energy Europe is a pan-European gas marketing business unit of Royal Dutch Shell with operations in 17 countries.
