Spectra Energy will build a new 200 million cubic feet per day natural gas processing plant in west Dawson Creek, Canada.
The Dawson processing plant will be built in two phases, with the first 100mcf per day of processing capacity available in late 2011 and the remaining capacity available in early 2013.
New plant capacity is fully contracted and extends Spectra’s asset base in the Montney natural gas play, the company said.
