Total has acquired a 36% interest in a production-sharing agreement in Yemen.
Block 72, a 1,821km² licence in the southern part of Masila Basin, is operated by DNO Yemen.
Total and partners DNO, TG Holdings Yemen, Ansan Wikfs (Hadramaut) and The Yemen Company will drill an exploration well in the block during the fourth quarter of 2010.
