Scanmudring - Heavy Subsea Construction Equipment Operators

Scanmudring is a leading operator of heavy subsea construction equipment and mobile subsea equipment. We perform special underwater works in deep water or in locations with difficult access. Removal or relocation of any type of seabed soil is our specialty. Operations are successfully carried out in deep water, difficult conditions and in areas with restricted access, with our mobile subsea equipments.

We have engaged in projects in the offshore oil industry, wreck cargo salvage, hydro power plant industry, civil engineering and subsea installations. We provide the following special underwater works:

Scanmaskin

The Scanmaskin 1000 systems are designed for implementing dredging, excavator, cutting, and various other hydraulically operated tools. They have been successfully deployed in many deep, shallow, harsh water, high current, and low visibility underwater construction activities such as:

• Subsea precision excavation in connection with repairs, hot-tapping, pile cutting, and inspection
• Levelling and modification of seabed (rock dump, hard and soft clays and soils)
• Rock dump, drillcut, boulder, and debris removal/relocation
• Pipeline and cable deburial, maintenance, location, and inspection
• Grouting removal
• Trenching tasks
• Assistance and preparation for installation and decommissioning of platforms and subsea assets
• Near shore programs such as precision drilling in preparation for blasting and high voltage cable repair

The unit is interfaced, powered and controlled by the Clients work-class ROV. Operation and maintenance is performed by the clients’ ROV team in tandem with Scanmudring specialists. All power and controls are transferred between the unit and the ROV by subsea mating. The unit may be wet stored.

Scandredge

The Scandrege is a standalone seabottom-based tool for limited precision removal of rock dumping, drillcutting and seabed.

The unit is supplied with either electrical or hydraulic power of the water pump. Operation is controlled by either ROV or dive crew and maintenance is performed by Scanmudring personnel.

Scandrege ROV manipulator

The Scandrege ROV Manipulator is a five-function ROV manipulator arm, designed for rougher work than normal, therefore reducing damage to the ROV’s standard manipulator and improving operational efficiency.

Scanrovdrege

Scanrovdrege mobile subsea equipment has proven to be an efficient and reliable tool during worldwide operations in excavation tasks. These range from:

• Rock dump and drillcut removal
• Pipeline deburial
• Relocation of seabed
• Wreck cargo relocation/salvage

Scangrabber

The Scangrabber is a hydraulically operated grabber system, which has been proven to be an efficient tool for the removal of rock, gravel, debris, and grout bags. It has a capacity of 20t.

The hydraulically operated grabber system is launched/recovered by a single wire standard crane or winch system, and opened/closed by a remote hydraulic control.
