M7 - Process Plants, Modules and Skids for FPSOs, and Conceptual and Detail Engineering

M7 Offshore provides project management and detail engineering services to the oil and gas industry, with a focus on process plants (topsides), modules and skids for floating production storage and offloading units (FPSOs). The company's key customers are ship-owners, but oil companies, engineering companies and equipment suppliers are also on the client list.

Multidiscipline engineering for offshore modules

M7 can perform multidiscipline engineering from the smallest study or service to multidiscipline projects for several offshore modules. M7 has approximately 30 staff, but has co-operation partners in Norway and South-East Asia to perform larger projects.

M7 has special expertise within process engineering (PFD, P&ID and simulations), automation (SCD) and layout (GA and isometrics). It produces all engineering deliverables needed for construction, and is approved to all major international standards used within the business.

M7 can perform engineering tasks within all phases, such as feasibility studies, concept studies, concept engineering and detail engineering.

FPSO project management, procurement and fabrication management

The company's core personnel have, for most of their professional lives, held key positions within 15 FPSO projects and worked within large and small oil companies and oil and gas contractor companies. M7 has worked with projects for the offshore North Sea, West Africa, Australia, the Gulf of Mexico, India and Brazil.

M7 has – based on long experience – established its own project management tools and procedures for project control, planning, interface and engineering control. The company also performs procurement services, fabrication management and follow-up, and has long experience from fabrication in South-East Asia.
