Siqura provides advanced video surveillance solutions (CCTV) to the global offshore oil and gas industry.

With more than 35 years of experience in the specialised security industry, Siqura offers marine-protected, rugged stainless-steel (316L) cameras specifically designed for harsh offshore conditions. This includes a range of explosion-proof ATEX and IECEx (EX) certified cameras for hazardous areas.

Additionally, Siqura delivers related products and services such as video management system software (VMS), access control, security management and network equipment, including switches and converters.

CCTV cameras for offshore vessels and platforms

Siqura provides corrosion-proof cameras for cruise ships, ferries, tankers, platform supply vessels, dredging vessels, windfarms and more. The Safe Area & Marine camera line has been engineered for harsh offshore conditions with additional intelligent features.

We manufacture robust stainless-steel CCTV cameras that are capable of withstanding the adverse conditions encountered on ships and offshore platforms.
Our explosion-proof security cameras allow for high-quality monitoring of dangerous operations environments.
TKH cameras can detect thermal properties of pipes and identify any weaknesses to be rectified to avoid downtime in operations.

The ultra-low-light feature allows for improved visibility in the dark. Surveillance of unmanned platforms, substations and other offshore objects can be automated with perimeter intrusion detection (PID). Fibre-optic equipment enables the fast transmission of video footage over long–distances.

Explosion-proof cameras for hazardous marine environments

ATEX and IECEx certified cameras have been designed for use in hazardous areas such as drilling platforms and vessels, oil platforms and LNG tankers.

Siqura’s explosion-proof camera line provides reliable monitoring of hazardous areas, with various cameras in this range having thermal imaging capabilities. Intelligent features such as hotspot detection and flare monitoring address major health, safety and environment (HSE) issues in the offshore industry.

Thermal cameras for offshore piping and electrical systems

Thermal cameras are provided for piping and electrical systems, as well as machines for the oil and gas drilling industry. By monitoring changes in thermal properties and patterns, corrosion, cracking and other restrictions can be detected.

Offshore electrical systems can build-up high-resistance or excessive current flow. Hotspot detection for electrical systems monitor increased temperatures at electrical connections on rigs and other offshore objects. Phase imbalances, inductive heating, overloads in power systems and breakers are just a few of the issues that can be detected with Siqura’s thermal cameras.

Thermal infrared monitoring can also be used for machines to check the bearing temperature in mud pump shafts and determine any equipment suffering from drive shaft misalignment problems.

Marine and coastal surveillance detection

Vessels can be detected and tracked with the Marine Intrusion Detection System. Siqura offers advanced analytics in combination with thermal cameras for monitoring and securing perimeters around harbours, ships, offshore rigs, windfarms and more.

The system can be standalone or an addition to existing radar systems, which do not usually detect smaller vessels or ships hidden in the radar shadow of larger vessels.
