SiiTech’s unique e-navigation solution, known as the Web VTS, is an online vessel tracking system that monitors any on-board sensors, ranging from fuel consumption to oil spill detection.
Web VTS is designed to protect your offshore assets such as oil and gas platforms, subsea pipelines and cables, and includes the Web Weather Server to provide worldwide forecast weather overlay for up to 15 days.
We actively work with three major satellite automatic identification system (AIS) data providers, namely Orbcomm, exactEarth and Spire, and can supply satellite AIS data worldwide.
Offshore vessel monitoring capabilities
Web VTS is a very scalable and robust system and can monitor more than 150,000 vessels and other targets, as well as handle over 1,000 users simultaneously.
Designed to provide an optimal presentation of Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) – S57/S63 on the internet, the Web VTS platform is able to work offline within a local intranet or on a single computer.
The platform offers Density Map on demand, which performs a visual analysis of the ship traffic pattern. The combination provides pie charts of what number and type of vessels produced.
Additional features include:
- Real-time vessel traffic monitoring near offshore platforms
- Advanced alarming algorithm warns operators only if there are critical situation
- Easy to draw all subsea cables and pipelines with adjustable guardian zones just in minutes
- Collision avoidance, pre-warning, Closest Point of Approach (CPA), Time to Closest Point of Approach (TCPA)
- Daily, weekly or monthly reports of vessel movements near offshore platforms, subsea pipelines and cables
Seamless compatibility with radar and mobile devices
The Web VTS solution supports integration with Esri ArcGIS products and quickly exports vessels’ real-time data to the ArcGIS Server and Esri ArcGIS products.
The platform supports Modbus protocol and has been integrated to Honeywell and Yokogawa to provide advanced automation and safety solutions to enable remote onshore operation for an offshore platform, including unmanned systems, to reduce overall production costs and improve safety.
The system controls each ship’s movement in real-time utilising free and paid communication channels, getting real-time on-board sensor data and provides excellent visual presentation.
Web VTS fully supports radar, automatic radar plotting aids (ARPAs) and CCTV cameras, and is also compatible with iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad), Android and Blackberry devices.
