Cladtek Introduces new Global Tagline: ‘Global Pioneers. Local Partners.’
Cladtek built its reputation through engineering innovation in corrosion-resistant pipeline systems, and over time has expanded into a global manufacturer with strong regional delivery capability in key offshore markets.
The company first gained industry recognition through its work with corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) pipeline technologies, particularly mechanically lined pipe (MLP). These systems are designed for offshore environments where production fluids can be highly corrosive, often containing carbon dioxide and other compounds that gradually degrade conventional carbon steel pipelines.
Mechanically lined pipe addresses this challenge by combining a carbon steel outer pipe, which provides structural strength, with an internal corrosion-resistant alloy liner that protects the pipe from aggressive fluids. The result is a pipeline system that delivers corrosion protection without the cost of manufacturing the entire pipe from solid CRA. This approach has become widely used in deepwater and high-CO₂ developments.
Today, the company supplies CRA mechanically lined pipe, weld-overlay clad pipe, fittings, induction bends and other components used in subsea and pipeline infrastructure. Across its global operations, Cladtek has delivered more than 900km of CRA and mechanically lined pipelines supporting offshore developments worldwide.
Global pioneers
Cladtek has spent years developing and manufacturing these technologies, supplying pipeline systems for offshore projects where corrosion resistance and long-term reliability are critical. The ‘Global Pioneers’ element of the new tagline acknowledges the engineering heritage and the company’s ongoing investment in product development and manufacturing capability.
At the same time, the business itself has grown well beyond its early role as a technology developer.
Cladtek now operates manufacturing and operational bases in Brazil, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, with expansion underway in Qatar. These facilities allow the company to support offshore developments in major energy regions while working within local supply chains and workforce frameworks that increasingly shape large infrastructure projects.
Local partners
The ‘Local Partners’ side of the tagline represents this on-the-ground presence in the markets where energy developments are taking place. Cladtek works closely with operators, EPC contractors and regional suppliers to manufacture and deliver pipeline systems while contributing to local industrial capability.
The new tagline brings together the two strands that now define our company: ongoing innovation in corrosion-resistant pipeline technology, and the regional manufacturing capability needed to deliver those solutions close to where projects are built.
