Laminated scaffold boards
Offshore Scaffolding Sales has a joint venture with a leading manufacturer of laminated veneer lumber (LVL) boards. We supply LVL boards produced to the OSHA industry standard and pre-supply goods that are PFS certified.
LVL scaffolding boards are a manufactured timber product specifically for use as a scaffold board. The unique process by which it is manufactured avoids the natural defects commonly found in sold sawn timber. Natural characteristics such as knots and ware are rearranged to maximize strength and minimize warping and splitting.
The timber used is of the best quality. European whitewood, poplars and Asian pine is selected for the manufacture of our LVL boards. The timber used is selected from top-quality mills that can guarantee all timber is from sustainable forests either to their natural standards or to the FSC standards covering the earth’s natural resources.
Our LVL boards are supplied with PFS certification, which ensures correct procedure and quality control.
Offshore Scaffolding Sales’ recent and past projects include supplying the scaffolding requirements for the Espoir FPSO project, the Okume project in Equatorial New Guinea and the BPTT project on the Cassia platform off the South East coast of Trinidad in the West Indies, as well as the joint venture between Bechtel-Enka for the second generation in Tengis, Kazakhstan.
