Geoquip Marine Completes American Geotechnical Campaign

Geoquip has completed a large geotechnical campaign for Vineyard Wind LLC offshore Massachusetts, US.

The Dina Polaris was mobilised from the Middle East for this campaign which consisted of seabed and downhole cone penetration testing (with seismic testing) and downhole sampling. Over a period of 81 days Geoquip completed over 2,500m of deep seabed cone penetration testing and in excess of 2,000m of downhole testing with only 6 days weather downtime.

All operations were completed in line with contractor and client expectations and without accident or environmental damage.
