Weir Oil & Gas Division designs and manufactures pumps and ancillary equipment for the global upstream and downstream oil and gas markets and provides aftermarket service and support activities.

Weir Oil & Gas Division is comprised of four business units: Weir Gabbioneta, Weir Mesa, Weir SPM and Weir Oil & Gas Services. Our goal is to help our customers extend the life of their equipment and enhance the productivity of their operations by:

  • Delivering customer-driven product and service innovation
  • Maintaining a collaborative mindset in building customer partnerships and leveraging best practices and capabilities across the Weir Group
  • Expanding our products and services globally to follow our customers as they extend their reach

High-pressure well service pumps and flow control equipment

Our specialization for the upstream operation is the manufacture of high-pressure well service pumps and related flow control equipment along with repairs, parts and service of pressure control and upstream rotating equipment.

Made-to-order centrifugal pumps

The downstream business is focused on the design and manufacture-to-order of centrifugal pumps, mainly used in the refining industry. The division’s principal operations are located in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Australia.

Weir Oil & Gas is the industry's top manufacturer of frac pumps. The SPM Destiny TWS2500 frac pump is our newest innovation in frac pump technology, delivering a more durable pump with greater performance and easier maintenance.
Understanding that global capabilities are necessary for customer success, expanding our footprint is top priority for Weir Oil & Gas.
A shared approach with customers and division colleagues enhances the development of new solutions for your challenges.

Offshore treated iron rental packages

Weir SPM’s iron rental program provides the customer with a cost-effective alternative to purchasing, maintaining, and the recertification of treating iron. Benefits of the program include eliminating the upfront cost of purchasing new iron, commissioning new iron, borrowing money, replacing expendable parts, the labor associated with repair, and inventory during down-time. The program allows the user to focus on its primary business, ensures all iron is in compliance, and avoids recertification costs.

Asset management of rotating equipment

Weir Oil & Gas offers customer tailored solutions in the areas of asset management, plant availability enhancement, turbomachinery repair and upgrades, engineering services, and onsite project management.
