SRCingegneria Electrical Safety / Security Systems and Industrial Process Automation Engineering
SRCingegneria is an independently owned company, fully controlled by its management, who have great experience and knowledge acquired through more than 20 years working in the design field, project management, construction supervision, commissioning and start-up activities for electrical, security, safety and process automation systems.
SRCingegneria is a competent, professional and reliable firm able to tailor its services to the specific needs and characteristics of each project. We are also a reliable partner to our clients, whose interests lie at the heart of our operations.
Customised offshore and onshore project management
Our skilled team is committed to providing high-quality services in compliance with the highest expectations of clients. Technical design services are built to customised specifications. Our approach is to provide these services with a project management methodology that ensures the utmost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Our customers are large engineering companies, manufacturing companies, public authorities, oil and gas companies, pharmaceutical companies and international M&E contractors.
Complex security system and process automation projects
Our technical department has strong design competences in electrical, safety and security systems, as well as process automation engineering. Our flexible organisation can provide complete and coordinated multi-disciplinary design, as well as discipline-specific design packages in coordination with other professionals.
In addition, our experience allows us to undertake projects that are particularly complex due to their size, logistics, multi-disciplinary approach and the linking of their phases, such as refurbishment works with or without activity interruption and projects under difficult conditions.
Our services begin at the preliminary design phase, where our designers assess possible design alternatives according to operational, economic and regulatory constraints, providing clients with the necessary instruments to decide which technical solution best suits their ideas and needs.
Final design and planning
In this phase, the basic elements of the project are pinpointed regarding its technical and economic factors, and the necessary programmes are developed in order to reach the highest degree of accuracy in budget cost estimation.
If required, our registered engineers take care of the preparation, submission and follow-up of any technical and administrative documentation, as well as obtaining the relevant permits or authorisations from local authorities (onshore projects only).
Detailed design services
In this phase, all the facets of the detailed design are analysed. All the issues concerning the project and its coordination among various disciplines are studied in order to reach a completed definition of the design and commence construction. This allows the client to minimise the risks of future claims or potential litigations during the construction phase. This phase also involves drawing up tender specifications, product specifications, material requisition, material take-off, estimates and price lists.
Electrical and process automation procurement management
SRCingegneria operates as procurement agent for direct purchasing by the client. These services are mainly related to electrical and process automation main equipment and materials.
The project procurement plan includes a number of services along the whole lifecycle of the supplies, from pre-selection of vendors to expediting and factory acceptance tests (FAT).
Validation of third-party projects
SRCingegneria provides technical validation and verification services for private clients, through the application of protocols codified within the quality assurance system.
Key oil field projects
Our key projects include the Kashagan oil field, for which SRCingegneria completed the detailed design of electrical safety and security systems for four local equipment rooms, as well as the Zubair oil field in Iraq, with SRCingegneria’s complex detailed design of electrical safety and security systems for the residential and office district. Recently, SRCingegneria has been awarded with the contract for detailed design of an electrical and low current system for Tengizchevroil FGP/WPMP 110kV core and main substations.
Flexible organisation and professional services
The skills, expertise and experience of our staff, our goal-oriented corporate philosophy and, above all, the flexibility of our organisation and operations management system enable us to provide professional services during the whole lifecycle of a project, whether by assuming its full control and responsibility or by operating in specific sectors based on our clients’ needs and demands.
The company is managed according to project management principles and a matrix structure that makes use of the same strict yet flexible organisational principles that are the key elements for the development of each individual project.
Our headquarters are located in Piacenza, northern Italy. Internationally, SRCingegneria operates in Kazakhstan, Iraq, Iran, Mozambique and Qatar, with significantly sized projects.
SRCingegneria was established in 2008 and is now one of Italy’s most qualified medium-size engineering firms, with 25 years experience in both Italian and international markets. Our major fields of competence range from electrical and process automation engineering design, to technical consultancy, as well as project and construction management for oil and gas and industrial projects.
