Wastewater treatment specialist, CETCO Oilfield Services, has strengthened its operations in the North Sea with the appointment of Euan Morrison as general manager (North Sea).

As general manager, Euan, who has been with CETCO for more than seven years, now has full responsibility for the operation and profitability of the Aberdeen-based business unit, which includes the company’s activities in the UK, Norway, Oman, UAE, Australia, Malaysia and Kazakhstan.

The appointment is a natural progression for the Aberdeen local who was previously CETCO’s eastern hemisphere operations manager.

“I am pleased to accept this challenging new role and I am very excited about the future ahead, with all of the ground breaking new products we have available and our commitment to research and development,” said Euan. “I have worked within CETCO for many years now and feel my contribution, particularly within new market development, put me in a strong position for this role.

“Even though we are a fast moving organisation, we still like to take a team approach to every challenge. With ever tougher environmental regulation, CETCO’s projects in the oil sector are becoming increasingly demanding and require new and innovative ideas and solutions; this is exactly where we are at our best.”

CETCO general manager, (Eastern Hemisphere) Morris Hoagland added: “We are thrilled to have Euan progress to this level during a period of significant development for CETCO worldwide. Euan’s promotion will continue to develop the company’s significant presence in the wastewater treatment industry, whilst ensuring efficient management operations throughout the region.”
