Engineering a New Future for Norgren

By IMI Precision Engineering

Norgren has long been a major player in pneumatic engineering. Its most significant growth has come since 1972, when the business was acquired by the global engineering group IMI, one of the first of a series of acquisitions designed to strengthen the group's expertise in fluid and motion control. Others quickly followed, including businesses such as Herion, Buschjost, FAS and Thompson Valves.

From January 2015, all of IMI's fluid power businesses - including the market leaders Norgren - will be brought under one new division: IMI Precision Engineering. Norgren's world-class range of products will become IMI Norgren, one of a portfolio of flagship product brands which also include IMI Buschjost, IMI FAS, IMI Maxseal and IMI Herion.
