The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.89% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 5.74% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.57% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops BASF IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by BASF, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 48.98% in November 2022, and a 14.29% rise over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 22.45% in November 2022, and registered growth of 37.5%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 16.33% in November 2022, a 100% rise from October 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at BASF
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 51.02% share, which marked a 3.85% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 28.57%, registering a 55.56% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 20.41% share and a 400% rise over October 2022.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 46.94% share in November 2022, a flat growth over October 2022. US featured next with a 20.41% share, up 400% over the previous month. China recorded a 20.41% share, an increase of 233.33% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead BASF IT hiring activity in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.39%, up by 21.43% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 28.57% share, a growth of 180% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.04% share, down 75% over October 2022.
