The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 120% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s oil & gas industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
BASF posted 10 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 233.33% over the previous month, followed by Halliburton with 4 jobs and a flat growth. PetroChina with 4 IT jobs and LyondellBasell Industries with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% growth, respectively, while Exxon Mobil recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 51.85%, up by 27.27% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.52% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 18.52% share, up 150% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 11.11%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
