
Hungary’s oil & gas industry registered a 12.0% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 1% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.31% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.22% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Hungary’s oil & gas industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Hungary’s oil & gas industry in June 2022.
1) Computer and Information Analysts recorded a share of 28.57% in June 2022, registering a 100% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 28.57% share, an increase of 150% over the previous month.
3) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 14.29%, registering a 54.55% decline from May 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 14.29%, up 150% over the previous month.
Top five oil & gas companies in Hungary’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 29.63% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Hungary’s oil & gas industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
BP posted 11 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 175% over the previous month, followed by Exxon Mobil with 10 jobs and a 28.57% drop. World Fuel Services with 7 IT jobs and MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas with 6 jobs, recorded a 600% growth and a 25% decrease, respectively, while Corteva recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.43%, up by 38.89% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 14.29% share, registered an increase of 25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.29% share, flat growth over May 2022.
