The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.82% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 4.26% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.16% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops PPG Industries IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by PPG Industries, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 55.26% in November 2022, and a 40% rise over October 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 15.79% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 25%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.79% in November 2022, a 14.29% drop from October 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at PPG Industries
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 50% share, which marked an 111.11% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 39.47%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 10.53% share and a 33.33% drop over October 2022.
Poland commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 39.47% share in November 2022, a 1400% growth over October 2022. US featured next with a 23.68% share, down 25% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 15.79% share, an increase of 100% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead PPG Industries IT hiring activity in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 81.58%, up by 29.17% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.16% share, a growth of 25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.26% share, flat growth over October 2022.
