The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 5.89% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.56% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 1.43% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 44% in November 2022, registering a 15.38% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 32% share, an increase of 60% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8%, registering a 33.33% decline from October 2022.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 8%, flat growth over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 58.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Singapore’s oil & gas industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Keppel posted 5 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 25% over the previous month, followed by Exxon Mobil with 4 jobs and a 33.33% drop. Yara International with 4 IT jobs and Fugro with 4 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Baker Hughes recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 48%, up by 9.09% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 32% share, registered a decline of 11.11% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 20% share, up 66.67% over October 2022.
