Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.23% share in October 2022, recording a decrease of 1.35% over the last three-month average share.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 19.23% share, a decrease of 58.33% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 11.54%, registering a 50% rise from September 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 5.26% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Singapore’s oil & gas industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Exxon Mobil posted 6 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Keppel with 4 jobs and a 55.56% drop. CGG with 4 IT jobs and John Wood Group with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Halliburton recorded a decline of 50% with 2 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 46.15%, down by 40% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 34.62% share, registered an increase of 125% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 19.23% share, up 25% over September 2022.
