IT jobs claimed a 10.1% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.08% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops TotalEnergies IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by TotalEnergies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 56.76% in September 2021, and a 55.56% rise over August 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 25.68% in September 2021, and registered growth of 850%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 12.16% in September 2021, an 80% rise from August 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at TotalEnergies
North America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 50% share, which marked a 60.87% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 33.78%, registering a 66.67% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 13.51% share and a 9.09% drop over August 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.35% and a month-on-month flat growth. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.35%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 50% share in September 2021, a 60.87% growth over August 2021. Philippines featured next with a 32.43% share, up 71.43% over the previous month. France recorded an 8.11% share, an increase of 20% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead TotalEnergies IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.76%, up by 2.44% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 43.24% share, a growth of 433.33% compared with the previous month.
