The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.74% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 4.13% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.7% decline over the last three-month average share.

Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops Worley IT hiring in November 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Worley, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 33.33% in November 2022, and a 12.5% rise over October 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 33.33% in November 2022, and registered growth of 12.5%. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 22.22% in November 2022, a 20% rise from October 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Worley

North America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 37.04% share, which marked a 66.67% rise over the previous month.

South & Central America stood next with 18.52%, registering a 25% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 14.81% share and a 20% drop over October 2022.

In the fourth place was Europe with a share of 14.81% and a month-on-month increase of 33.33%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 14.81%, registering a 20% drop over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 22.22% share in November 2022, a 50% growth over October 2022. The UK featured next with a 14.81% share, up 300% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 14.81% share, an increase of 100% compared with October 2022.

Mid Level jobs lead Worley IT hiring activity in November 2022

Mid Level jobs held a share of 48.15%, up by 116.67% from October 2022. Junior Level positions with a 37.04% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.81% share, up 100% over October 2022.
