Out of the total IT job titles posted by ZF Friedrichshafen, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72.44% in November 2021, and a 29.58% rise over October 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 10.24% in November 2021, and registered growth of 116.67%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.24% in November 2021, an 8.33% rise from October 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at ZF Friedrichshafen
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 53.54% share, which marked a 6.25% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 37.01%, registering an 113.64% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 9.45% share and a 20% drop over October 2021.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 26.77% share in November 2021, a 17.24% growth over October 2021. China featured next with a 24.41% share, up 342.86% over the previous month. India recorded a 12.6% share, an increase of 6.67% compared with October 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.72%, up by 19.44% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 28.35% share, a growth of 80% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.94% share, down 44.44% over October 2021.
