JM Cox Resources records 12.85% decrease in production in August 2021

JM Cox Resources recorded a decrease of 12.85% in total oil and gas production to 1,051.78 boe/d in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of JM Cox Resources declined 10.2% in August 2021 from 1,171.23 boe/d in August 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 3.13% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production declined 9.89% to 667.43 bd in August 2021 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 17.41% to 2.23 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 11% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production rose by 36.77%. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, oil production held a 63.46% share, while gas production held a 36.55% share.

Looking at the states where JM Cox Resources recorded the highest oil and gas production in August 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 1,051.78 boe/d in the state in August 2021, a decrease of 12.85% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 9,986.49 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording an increase of 3.13% from the same period in 2020.



JM Cox Resources witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Reagan county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Reagan county held a share of 43.93% for the firm. The company produced 462.08 boe/d in Reagan county in August 2021, a decrease of 24.63% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 5,167.64 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 64.94% increase from the same period in 2020.
