The 1,980km-long, upcoming Niger–Benin project will be operated by China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development. This onshore, oil pipeline, with a maximum diameter of 20 inches, will start in Diffa (Niger) and ends in Bight of Benin (Benin).

The Niger–Benin project is expected to commence operations in 2022 and will be owned by China National Petroleum.


During the period 2021-2025, the Niger–Benin project is expected to witness an estimated capex of $3,150m.
