Located in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in Russia, the Obskiy LNG liquefaction terminal is owned by Novatek and will be operated by Obskiy Gas Chemical Complex, once it becomes operational in 2025.

The Obskiy LNG liquefaction terminal will source gas from Seyakhinskoye West (Zapadno-Seyakhinskoye) and Verkhnetiuteiskoye field.

With two trains, Obskiy terminal will have an initial LNG production capacity of 5Mtpa (million tons per annum).

During the period 2021-2025, the Obskiy liquefaction plant is expected to witness an estimated capex of $2,070m.
