Oglan is a heavy oil development located onshore Ecuador and is operated by Pluspetrol Ecuador. Discovered in 2014, Oglan lies in block Block 10 (Villano).
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2022. Final investment decision (FID) of the project was approved in 2015.

Production from the Oglan heavy oil development project is expected to begin in 2022 and is forecast to peak in 2023, to approximately 38,945 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2088.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 275.91 Mmboe, comprised of 275.91 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
