Production from Bien Dong 1 Project
The Bien Dong 1 Project conventional gas field recovered 35.74% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2016. The peak production was approximately 11.50 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 207.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2044. The field currently accounts for approximately 12% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 248.66 Mmboe, comprised of 53.52 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 1,170.85 bcf of natural gas reserves. Bien Dong 1 Project conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.08% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
