Production from El Mangrullo
The El Mangrullo unconventional gas field recovered 24.85% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2023. The peak production was approximately 0.06 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 301.00 Mmcfd of natural gas and 0.26 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2083. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 264.60 Mmboe, comprised of 0.27 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 1,577.81 bcf of natural gas reserves and 1.36 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. El Mangrullo unconventional gas field reserves accounts 0.23% of total remaining reserves of producing unconventional gas fields globally.
