The peak production will approximately 438.55 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1,061.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2077. The field currently accounts for approximately 16% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 4,983.78 Mmboe, comprised of 3,521.10 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 8,776.09 bcf of natural gas reserves. Kashagan conventional oil field reserves accounts 1.11% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
