Production from Shwe Complex

The Shwe Complex conventional gas field recovered 43.29% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2022. The peak production was approximately 608.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039. The field currently accounts for approximately 36% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 358.97 Mmboe, comprised of 2,153.80 bcf of natural gas reserves. Shwe Complex conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.12% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
