Tukau Timur is a conventional gas development located in shallow water in Malaysia and is operated by PETRONAS Carigali International Sdn. According to GlobalData, who tracks more than 34,000 active and developing oil and gas fields worldwide, Tukau Timur was discovered in 2000, lies in block SK 307 and Baram Delta, with water depth of around 213 feet. Production from Tukau Timur
Production from the Tukau Timur conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2023 and is forecast to peak in 2025, to approximately 390 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2041.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 146.19 Mmboe, comprised of 877.15 bcf of natural gas reserves.
