Production from Umm Shaif

The Umm Shaif conventional oil field recovered 77.38% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2027. The peak production will approximately 352.80 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 38.00 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2042. The field currently accounts for approximately 5% of the country’s daily output.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 1,284.12 Mmboe, comprised of 904.83 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 2,275.73 bcf of natural gas reserves. Umm Shaif conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.28% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
