Sabine Pass I LNG Regasification Terminal, US

Located in Louisiana in the US, the Sabine Pass I regasification terminal is operated by Sabine Pass LNG. The terminal started operations in 2008 and is owned by Cheniere Energy.

 

 

With a storage capacity of 0.35 million tons (Mt), the Sabine Pass I terminal currently has a regasification capacity of 1,460bcf/annum (billion cubic feet), which is expected remain the same as 1,460bcf/annum by 2030.

About Sabine Pass LNG

 

Sabine Pass LNG LP is a LNG terminal located on 853 acres of land along the Sabine Pass River on the border between Texas and Louisiana, in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. It is located at the widest point on the Sabine River Navigation Channel, only 3.7 nautical miles from the open water and 23 nautical miles from the outer buoy.
