Norwegian firm DOF Subsea has announced that it had secured multiple new contracts from Brazilian firm Petrobras.

Under the work scope of the contract, DOF Subsea will provide survey and inspection services within its core service lines.

The Norwegian firm noted that it will mobilise at least three vessels from its fleet in order to perform an inspection of the flexible pipeline, risers and subsea equipment.

These operations will be performed in the Campos, Santos, and Espírito Santos basins, as well as Marlin Field.

The $110m contract works are expected to start in the fourth quarter of this year.

According to DOF Subsea, the work is expected to be performed for a period of 550 days.

DOF Subsea CEO Mons S Aase said: “I am very pleased for these awards securing utilisation for our personnel and our assets and adding important backlog to the group.

“It further strengthens our leading position in Brazil within IMR and confirms our long relationship with Petrobras.”

DOF Subsea recently secured multiple new contracts in the Atlantic region. This contract includes work within the survey, inspection, maintenance and repair, and decommissioning.

In February, its parent firm DOF secured contracts for three ROVs with Petrobras.

Established in 2005, DOF Subsea focuses on delivering subsea solutions to the offshore energy industry.

The company operates a fleet of 26 vessels, 1,200 employees and more than 70 ROVs.
