Mine Clearance Services

Drafinsub operates both onshore and offshore and are authorised by all major Certification Societies.

All underwater activities are performed in compliance with the UNI 11366 standard: "Sicurezza e tutela della salute nelle attività subacquee ed iperbariche professionali al servizio dell’ industria" (as of June 2010).

We are authorised by the Italian Ministry of Defence to perform any kind of operations involving the clearance of mines and unexploded bombs.

This field of operation includes inland waters, i.e. canals, rivers and lakes.

Mine clearance activities and methods:

• Surface mine clearance (-1.2 m/4 ft. below ground or sea level)
• Deep mine clearance with hydraulic drill (-10 m/33 ft. below
• ground or sea level)
• Excavation assistance in preparation for mine clearance
• Suction dredging of lakes, lagoons or canals
