Saipem has won onshore oil and gas contracts worth over $1.2bn from Kharafi National and Dijla Petroleum.

Kharafi National awarded Saipem the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the Early Production Facility Project north of Kuwait. It covers an oil and gas treatment capacity of 150,000 barrels per day in this first phase of development.

The contract also includes EPC services for a gathering system and pipelines sited next to a sulphur granulation plant.

In Syria, Dijla Petroleum has awarded a contract for the Central Processing Facility to Saipem for installation at the Khurbet East oilfield on block 26.

Saipem will carry out EPC of a central processing facility with a capacity of 50,000 barrels of fluids per day.
