Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has submitted a single authorisation application to the Ministry of Economic Development in Italy.
TAP submitted the application to obtain the final permits and authorisations for the construction and operation of TAP’s gas pipeline in Italy.
TAP is a natural gas pipeline project that will transport gas from the Caspian region via Greece and Albania, across the Adriatic Sea to southern Italy and further into western Europe.
The Italian Ministry will carry out an evaluation process by consulting municipal, provincial, regional and central authorities in parallel with TAP’s environmental impact assessment process.
