Offshore refrigerated containers

AB Cool offers standard offshore reefers, which are manufactured and designed in accordance with either EN12079 or DNV 2.7-1 standards. The units are available for lease or purchase and in most cases, can be dispatched to site within 24 hours. The standard offshore units can also be supplied complete with internal shelving and a whole range of additional extras.

EN12079 and DNV 2.7-1-compliant offshore refrigerated containers

AB Cool offers 10ft and 20ft offshore refrigerated containers, certified by Lloyd’s Register according to the EN12079 and DNV 2.7-1 offshore regulations, and designed, built, tested and certified in compliance with these norms. The lifting equipment (WLL10t slings set) is also certified.

The offshore container box is fully reconditioned and an MPI / load test is carried out. These tests are carried out according to the European standards EN12079 and DNV 2.7-1. Two certificates (MPI certificate and a load-test certificate) come with each container. The box is also CSC-plated according to ISO-norms (a cargo security certificate), which is valid for 30 months.

10ft and 20ft offshore refrigerated containers

AB Cool’s range of offshore refrigerated containers includes the following:

Containers can optionally be supplied with a cargo net, chill curtain, internal lighting, and a Partlow temperature recorder with a five-year machinery warranty alarm. Stackable models are available.

Zone 2 offshore refrigeration containers for hazardous environments

AB Cool provides newly certified EN12079 and DNV 2.7-1 reefer containers designed and built for operational use in zone 2 hazardous areas. The units are certified in accordance to the ENN3410 norm, which enables them to be operated in potentially hazardous environments. The unit features a modified carrier refrigeration unit.
