Three adjacent aircraft hangars at Zaventem Brussels International Airport have recently been equipped with SharpEye 40/40-I Triple IR Flame Detectors.
The brand new JetAirFly JetAirport Hangar chose to protect the building with the SharpEye detectors due to their proven reliability. The Brussels Airlines Hangar, however, replaced older UV/IR detectors which gave false alarms occasionally.
SharpEye 40/40 series flame detectors offer unmatched performance and reliability, including patented triple IR (IR3) multispectrum detectors that enable detection of small fires at distances up to 65m, with enhanced immunity to false alarms.
The JetAirFly and Brussels Airlines hangars have detectors installed at two heights, providing underwing and overwing protection.The private Abelag Hangar also installed 40/40I Flame Detectors.
