RESON will host user conference, training, and demonstrations in Houston, Texas from 15-16 October 2009, with a focus on SeaBat sonar systems. Demonstrations of the SeaBat 7101, 7125 and 7128 multibeam sonar systems and RESON PDS2000 software will be made at Lake Conroe.

October 15th – user conference

The conference will be held at the JW Marriott in Houston, and will include a preliminary session with keynote ad-dresses, presentations and papers, followed the next day with half-day basic and advanced classroom training conducted by RESON instructors and industry experts. The general agenda includes:

  • 8:30am – 10am – general introduction and agenda
  • 10am-12pm – presentations and scientific papers
  • 12pm-1pm – lunch
  • 1pm – 4pm – technology roadmap and panel discussion

October 16th – training and demonstrations

During excursions to the demo site multibeam data survey, data collection, and data visualization capabilities of the systems will be shown. The RESON demonstrations will be held four times a day on-board the boat where you can relax and view real-time data on a large screen as we survey targets and features in Lake Conroe. Demos will depart four times daily and training sessions will be conducted in parallel at the JW Marriott located at 5150 Wes-theimer, Houston, TX 77056.

  • 8:30am-12pm – training for basic users demo on the lake
  • 12pm-1pm – lunch
  • 1pm-4pm – training for advanced users demo on the lake
