Marine Fenders International, Inc. (MFI) announced that it recently acquired all the assets of Urethane Technology Inc.’s (UTI), a leading manufacturer of speciality buoys and marine fenders.
Jerry Thermos, CEO of MFI stated that he was pleased to conclude this transaction as UTI’s technology will further enhance MFI’s mission to remain one of the leading worldwide designers and manufacturers of foam-filled marine fenders and buoys.
MFI has been a longstanding worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of foam-filled fenders. Prior to founding MFI, CEO Jerry Thermos pioneered the design of modern-day foam filled fenders, having been a recognized expert in the industry since the early 1990s. MFI is on the shortlist of virtually every governmental entity, military entity and general contractors who build facilities requiring foam-filled fenders and buoys.
